The camera holder is used as measuring equipment in a TRUMPF laser system. It has a complex cooling geometry and enables tolerance compensation thanks to flexible clamping on four cooling surfaces. While an assembly would usually be required, this monolithic design provides a one-part solution. This reduces the production costs, increases the cooling capacity, and reduces the amount of assembly work. Material AL6061-RAM2 can also be used to improve the corrosion resistance and can be color anodized to enable clear identification.
