TruTops Print

Data preparation for 3D printing

A bridge between the digital and physical worlds

Discover TruTops Print - your innovative software solution for effortless and precise data preparation in 3D printing. With TruTops Print, you can close the gap between design and print seamlessly and efficiently.

Our software works perfectly with our state-of-the-art 3D printing systems to provide you with first-class results. TruTops Print offers advanced functions for slicing, vector generation and laser mapping - the final steps in data preparation. Thanks to our advanced downskin strategy, you benefit from maximum design freedom, reduced material consumption and less post-processing. Compared to components with support structures, this results in smoother surfaces and faster printing times.

TruTops Print is seamlessly integrated into your favorite CAD-CAM software to ensure a smooth workflow. From build preparation and path generation to 3D printing - optimize your production with TruTops Print.

Experience the perfect harmony between the digital and physical worlds with TruTops Print and optimize your 3D printing like never before!

Intuitive operation thanks to simple user interface

Thanks to the clear and visual display of parameter configuration settings, operating TruTops Print is a breeze.

Software & machine in harmony

TruTops Print and our 3D printing systems are perfectly matched.

Full control thanks to the parameter editor

Details of the parameters used can be viewed in full and changed to meet component-specific requirements.

Seamless integration

Say goodbye to cumbersome data conversions - TruTops Print is connected to numerous CAD/CAM softwares to provide you with a smooth workflow in data preparation.

Our innovative downskin strategy in TruTops Print optimizes the undersides of components - which are often less smooth - for improved surface quality. You also save yourself time-consuming reworking.

Take at look at the TruTops Print

The first step is to assign the parameters in TruTops Print.

The components are divided into layers and the laser vectors are created (slicing& hatching). The progress can be checked in the build job queue.

Multilaser assignment enables automatic or individual assignment of lasers per component.

Exposure settings can be made in the parameter editor, for example to optimize overhang areas.

Settings for the downskin functions can be made in the parameter editor.

File formats

TruTops Print can process STL (stereolithography) and 3MF (3D Manufacturing Format) files and supports slice-based support as well as beam-lattice extension.

Data preparation: from the design file to the print file

Design

Construct your desired component and optimize its design for 3D printing

Alignment/orientation

Align your component on the building board and, if necessary, arrange several components on the board.

Support structures

Add the necessary support structures.

Slicing and laser assignment

With TruTops Print, you divide your model into layers for printing, assign vectors and define parameters and laser assignment.
