Oseon Production Control Software – Innovations

Find out here what innovations the new release of Oseon has to offer.

Version 5

Further improvements in store floor management

Target values for individual machines are now also displayed in the pie chart of operating states. Deviations can be identified at a glance and appropriate measures derived.

Evaluations of circulating stocks

High circulating stocks often lead to increased part search times and tie up capital. The trend development of work in progress at workstations also allows different categories such as the proportion of delayed press operations or rush orders to be evaluated.

Different types of circulating stocks

In order to take targeted measures, circulating stock is divided into categories. For example, rush orders and late orders are shown separately so that direct countermeasures can be taken.

How do the circulating stocks of a workstation or workplace group develop?

The circulating stock is the quantity of orders released at a workstation in hours. This is divided into urgent orders, delayed orders, orders for today and orders for the future.

Analyze throughput times of production orders

For production orders, the process times at workstations and idle times are displayed graphically. This allows the causes of delays to be identified in the event of deviations.

View average waiting time at workstations

In the workstation utilization view, you can see how long an order waits on average at a workstation before it is processed further.

Higher planning quality thanks to buffer times

It is possible to store different buffer times for different press operations. This allows individual work situations to be mapped and planning quality to be increased.

Ensure availability of vendor parts and tools

If materials, external supplier parts or tools are required for a press operation that are not yet available, an earliest start date can be defined.

Combination of ASAP and just-in-time scheduling

The use of just-in-time scheduling ensures low inventory levels and high production efficiency. If individual orders are to be completed as quickly as possible and buffers for unforeseen events are to be taken into account, these can still be loaded as ASAP scheduling. So you can benefit from both.

Consideration of parts separation as early as the planning stage

A change of workstation gives more flexibility in processing. The corresponding part separation is taken into account. If the parts are separated directly at the machine, they are scheduled directly after the cutting process without any waiting time.

Documentation of the quality of the parts produced using the web app for production employees

It is possible to add inspection characteristics to the order that the production employee should measure after defined inspection cycles. The digitization of a further process step means that paper testing logs are no longer necessary. At the same time, digitization ensures greater process reliability compared to paper. The operator receives “reminders” and mandatory specifications from the system.

Batch mode when using the commissioning tower

Batch mode automatically selects valid commissioning packages and processes them in the order in which they were created. This means that no employee is needed to start the next commissioning package.

Version 4

Analysis of circulating stock

Visual overview of the chronological development of circulating stock at workstations. This new transparency ensures that optimization options for the order processing sequence during production can be recognized and implemented.

Automatic creation of transport orders for raw materials

Transport orders for raw materials are also created independently for workstations that are not connected to automatic stores. These are then specifically executed by logistic service providers.

Identification of transports within automatic stores

Stock levels, containers, and locations that are included in transport orders are marked in the store management web interface.

Full transparency for production planning

The utilization overview ensures the efficient use of existing resources. Analyzing planning data also ensures the transparency of your data quality and helps to resolve planning conflicts.

Comparing production times

What was the planned processing time and what was the actual processing time at a workstation? Gain transparency with analyses.

TruLaser Tube integration in Oseon

With the new Oseon version, the programming software (Programming Tube) and required logistic activities are integrated in the Oseon workflow.
The machine operators also benefit from a web app that has been specifically developed for the technology.

Recording the features of produced parts for the integrated quality management process

Production staff can now use a web app in Oseon to directly document quality attributes (e.g. measured angles when bending) based on defined test cycles.

Simplified installation

An integrated wizard ensures shorter start-up times and a smooth introduction to Oseon. The new Oseon version includes web apps for production staff, if required.

Version 3

Optimized production planning for on-time production

With Oseon Production Planning, production orders can be scheduled both in advance and retroactively, thereby enabling low-inventory and on-time production. Improved user interfaces facilitate the scheduling of individual production orders.

Creating a custom dashboard

Analyses can now be customized on a dashboard. The ability to create multiple dashboards makes shop floor management even more efficient.

Web-based app for operators of TruLaser Tube machines

TruLaser and TruBend machine operators are not the only ones who can benefit from Oseon. Oseon expands support along the technology chain with the web-based app for TruLaser Tube machine operators.

Automatic provision mode for empty system pallets

The "Automatic Provision Mode for Empty System Pallets" enables the multiple provision of empty pallets of the same type at a specific storage station in an automatic large store.

Stock placement list

The stock placement list facilitates easy and process-reliable recording and transfer (physical and in terms of inventory) of purchased raw sheets to an automated store.

Hardware scanner support

External hardware scanners can now be used in addition to tablet cameras to quickly scan and record containers and inventories.

Version 2

Digital shop floor management including non-productive times

The recording the visualization of non-productive times ensures a greater level of transparency in your production process and further improves your digital shop floor management system.

Intuitive store management

Use the Oseon web app to intuitively and easily operate and manage automatic small stores.

Even more convenient support when bending

Oseon V2.0 also enables you to use the web-based solution to support operators of bending machines, including on a second monitor.

Production planning

The cloud-based solution makes your order planning process more transparent and enables you to schedule production orders, taking the available production capacities into consideration.

Shift planning

Use the cloud-based solution to specify the available workstation capacities, such as the working times and shifts, etc.

Version 1

Overview of all of your workstations in your production process

The live status allows you to maintain an overview of all of the workstations and you are informed in the event of any malfunctions.

Comprehensive analysis options

Your digital shop floor management system is based on comparative analyses of workstations and trends, and the setting of benchmarks.

Customized store management

Manage, control, and operate manual and automatic small and large stores, as required, using the web-based interface from Oseon.

Efficient material flow thanks to transport management system

Simplify your material transports – TRUMPF docking stations and automated guided vehicles enable fully automated transport between workstations.

Targeted support for production staff

Step-by-step instructions, including work and safety instructions with images, 3D drawings and videos, simplify operation. Processes can be reported and booked directly in the web-based solution.

Role-based user concept

Oseon supports employees with their specific operations and displays the information that is relevant to them to everyone in the team. The motto: "As much as necessary, as simply as possible."

Interconnected process and material flow

Oseon coordinates the cooperation between manufacturing orders and material flow on the shop floor. Any bookings relating to the order status, stock levels, or transport processes are thus always synchronized and efficiently coordinated.

Using bending pools to efficiently manage production orders

Create a group of bending machines (bending pool) as a virtual workstation. This will enable you to see if the required parts and NC programs are available and ensures a sensible distribution of the production orders.

Oseon supports the entire process chain, including manual workstations

For production employees at manual workstations, in the assembly department for example, Oseon is a specific web-based solution that is tailored to their own tasks.
