Art and culture

With our commitment to art and culture, we bring people together and also create an inspiring work environment.

What role do art and culture play for us?

As a family company, we want to promote cultural and art projects to help create an inspiring and innovative environment. In doing so, we make our locations more attractive – both for our employees and the general public.

We support art and culture projects - locally and regionally.

We support cultural and artistic projects in the regions of our TRUMPF sites.

We make art accessible to our employees.

Through art and architecture, we create an inspiring work environment for our employees and encourage visits to cultural institutions through discounted offers.

We support these cultural programs

TRUMPF permanently supports selected cultural institutions in the regions in which we are active. These include the Landesmuseum Württemberg (Württemberg State Museum), the Linden-Museum Stuttgart, the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart (Stuttgart Art Museum) and the Staatsgalerie (State Gallery) in Stuttgart. We also support creative artists in selected projects and promote music and theater events. Take a look at some examples.

Street art for the new TRUMPF Education Center

As part of a street art workshop, our trainees and students, together with the Berlin artist HÜLPMAN , designed colorful and evocative imagery for the new center for training and continuing education in Ditzingen.

Making art accessible to the visually impaired

We support the "Tastfigurine" [touch figurine] project at the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart (Stuttgart State Gallery). The project makes art accessible to people with visual impairments by allowing them to touch and feel the costumes of small 3D figures.

Art at lunch time

With the "art break" model, we enable our employees to view works of art together with the artists during their lunch break. The work is examined intensively in the discussion that follows. The change of perspective stimulates communication between the employees and encourages their own creativity and brainstorming.

Light and color in the tunnel

Circles and cones of light as well as colored shadows appear as surprise effects when entering a 117 meter long tunnel that connects two TRUMPF buildings underground in Ditzingen. The project was created in co-operation with the Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart (Stuttgart State Academy of Fine Arts).
