9th Automotive Photonics

The 9th Automotive Photonics was held at TRUMPF in Ditzingen on 3 April 2025, bringing together experts from the automotive and laser technology industries.

The focus was on future-oriented topics such as battery efficiency, giga casting, power electronics and the use of AI in laser production. Attendees were able to experience the latest technological advances first-hand through live demonstrations in the Laser Application Centre and gain valuable insights through direct interaction with laser experts.

It was also shown how innovative laser processes are enabling the production of lighter and stronger vehicle components. The lively exchange provided a wealth of inspiration for future mobility.
