Bettina Stark-Watzinger, Federal Minister of Education and Research, visited the Q.ANT booth at the Hannover Messe today. At the world's largest industrial trade show, the TRUMPF start-up demonstrated the advantages offered to industry by quantum sensors. In a conversation with Michael Förtsch, CEO of Q.ANT, the Minister listened to an explanation about the quantum sensor from the Stuttgart-based start-up. She also learned about the quantum computer chip that Q.ANT has developed. It is to be made ready for series production and used in industry within the next few years.

Q.ANT CEO Michael Förtsch shows Federal Minister Bettina Stark-Watzinger a quantum sensor that can be used by food manufacturers to test the quality of coffee. The sensor measures the size and shape of the grain. These play a crucial role in the different flavors of coffee.
Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Minister of Economics, Labor and Housing of the State of Baden-Württemberg, also paid a visit to the startup at the Hannover Messe. In a conversation with Q.ANT CEO Michael Förtsch, she exchanged views on, among other things, the start-up's development and production intentions over the next few years.
