Has your machine come to an unexpected standstill? Immediately protect your budget and nerves. By using Condition Monitoring you are transferring the monitoring of your machine states to the Predictive Service Center from TRUMPF. If maintenance is due or a failure may occur, we will inform you proactively. Based on the urgency and possible solutions, you will receive a recommendation for action via the Service app, by e-mail or a phone call. Learn more about the Service app now.
Condition Monitoring for machine tools
Benefit from active Condition Monitoring and reduce unplanned downtime. Our Predictive Service Center uses the condition analysis of your machine and informs you of any problems immediately. This is how we help you to increase availability. Thanks to the machine diagnostics function, you can take advantage of predictive maintenance and minimize the risk of unplanned downtimes.
Reduce unplanned idle states by detecting problems at an early stage.
Receive and implement fixes early
Deal with possible problems before they arise.
Utilize the broad expertise of TRUMPF experts.
Thanks to machine diagnostics, our experts recognize faulty or wearing components at an early stage.
What to expect from Condition Monitoring
Effective monitoring is crucial to ensure quality and detect errors at an early stage. This will help you avoid consequential damage and costs. Our comprehensive monitoring covers a wide range of machine components to ensure that your operation runs smoothly.
Condition Monitoring now benefits you even more: Protect your pocket with the new “Machine diagnostics” function. It detects problems before they arise: imagine knowing months in advance when a part will wear out or when dirt will clog a component and being able to react proactively.
Condition Monitoring examples
The lateral air blast nozzle, cutting unit, and gas pressures are actively monitored on the TruLaser machine. Effective monitoring of the lateral air blast nozzle prevents quality problems in the thick sheet in sufficient time, by detecting slag contamination at an early stage. Early error detection on the cutting unit ensures that service engineers can implement work efficiently. The degree of contamination and adverse effects are checked during this process. Monitoring different gas pressures prevents the contamination of optical components, which can prevent high subsequent costs and the possible complete failure of the cutting unit.
Thanks to the “Machine diagnostics” function, we can inform you in good time as soon as your machine data exceeds certain limit values.
On the TruMatic machine, the vacuum pump as well as the axes and drives are monitored, amongst other things. The unexpected failure of the CO2 vacuum pump on the resonator can cause the failure of the laser beam. Possible idle states are prevented by monitoring this pump. Faults on axes and drives, such as excess temperatures, jamming, or an excessive torque are detected at an early stage to prevent any subsequent damage.
On the TruBend machine, the degree of contamination of the sheet metal, filters, and central lubrication is monitored. The Technical Guide reminds the customer in good time to replace filters and can thus reduce and prevent any restrictions. Problems on the central lubrication can, for example, be caused by the air pressure, empty lubricant tank, and contamination and can be recognized at an early stage by Condition Monitoring.
