Simple and reliable calibration
The CalibrationLine from TRUMPF checks whether the focal position and laser power on the workpiece actually match your requirements, at regular, individually definable intervals. If necessary, the calibration tool corrects the focus in the X, Y, and Z direction, as well as the laser power, and brings the program back in line with reality using TruControl, control software. This ensures a high degree of repetition accuracy. The data recorded by the CalibrationLine is stored in a FIFO database so that as the user, you can access detailed measuring data at any time. You can also export the data into your databases if necessary. Some data are also available via Quality Data Storage.
CalibrationLine calibrates and evens out focal position and temperature drift.
Optimum welding results, even after replacing the fiber optic cable or focusing optics.
Guaranteed traceability due to stored, detailed measured values.
Welding of bodywork components with laser remote welding
CalibrationLine enables exact calibration of the entire system of bodywork components during welding.
Cleaning of battery cells
CalibrationLine contributes to indirect quality control during cleaning with the TruMicro 7000 by measuring the average power and the focus position.
CalibrationLine Focus
The focus position may vary due to long-term drift and temperature drift or inaccuracy during assembly. CalibrationLine Focus checks at regular, individually definable intervals whether the focus position on the workpiece still matches your requirements. If necessary, the focal point is automatically adapted and calibrated. By restoring complete congruency between the program and reality, you achieve a high degree of repetition accuracy. A new feature in combination with the 2D PFO is communication with an external axis via fieldbus to determine the focus position not only in the X and Y directions, but now also in the Z direction.
CalibrationLine Power
The power of the laser on the workpiece may vary due to a change of fiber optic cable, replacement of the focusing optics, or contamination of the protective glass of the focusing optics. The CalibrationLine Power function checks at regular, individually definable intervals whether the laser power on the workpiece actually corresponds to the customer requirements. If necessary, CalibrationLine Power corrects the laser power and brings the program and reality back in line with each other using the TruControl control software. This synchronization ensures consistent, high-quality welding results.
