Laser MC II

Laser MC II is a user-friendly and flexible web-based software that offers various functions and options during use.

Laser power control

100% consistent process results – the integrated laser power control measures and regulates the power in real time, accurate to +/- 1%. This means you always obtain the same process results. The laser power is regulated independently of the ambient conditions. Due to its particularly robust design concept, the TruFiber withstands disturbing influences and external demands extremely well.

BrightLine Mode – Variable beam profile for multi-kilowatt fiber laser

With BrightLine Mode, materials such as copper, aluminum and stainless steel can be welded virtually spatter-free. The patented 2-in-1 laser light cable (LLK) with multimode core and multimode ring is permanently connected to the laser.
The laser control enables, among other things, flexible adjustment of the power distribution in the core and ring of the LLK for optimal results in welding applications.

VariMode beam optimization

The VariMode function allows you to adapt the beam characteristics of your fiber laser (from 3 kW with 100 μm fiber) to your application. Mainly variable are the beam parameter product (BPP), as well as beam profile and the irradiance on the workpiece. Having such a dynamically controllable beam profile brings significant benefits, allowing "on the fly" changes to processing steps to increase production speed, reduce costs and improve process quality for a range of cutting and welding applications.

Focusing optics

Regardless of whether you are welding, cutting, ablating, heat treating, or drilling, you can count on high-quality process results with robust focusing optics from TRUMPF.
