Transparent machine data: Digital service from TRUMPF optimizes production
Ditzingen, 3 April 2025 – At its in-house exhibition INTECH, TRUMPF is showcasing an extension to its digital ecosystem that makes it even easier for companies to evaluate their production data. The ‘Smart View’ service provides a clear overview of all information on machine status, including availability, service life and downtime. This provides users with an even better way to optimize their production based on data. From INTECH onwards, TRUMPF will also be equipping a large proportion of its machines from the factory with the new function. The shared data also enables service technician visits to be handled more quickly, because TRUMPF experts can get an overview of the fault in advance. The high-tech company is retrofitting the service to all available machines already in the field with customers, free of charge.
Solution supports the TRUMPF service world
TRUMPF is presenting the solution at INTECH as part of its ‘Service and Software Experience’ – an extensive package of different services and digital products. ‘Service is a central component of the TRUMPF corporate strategy. With a globally networked and digital service structure and over 2,000 service technicians worldwide, we are particularly close to our customers. The ‘Smart View’ application further underscores our mission to be a solution provider that ensures our machines have maximum availability,‘ says Marcella Montelatici, Managing Director for Sales and Services. With the additional “Remote Control” service, TRUMPF can, for example, control users’ machines remotely. This enables companies to keep their machines running overnight without employing additional staff. With condition monitoring, TRUMPF uses the machine's status data to detect impending faults in advance, in order to proactively inform the customer about the necessary measures.
