To enable you to manage your licenses easily and with flexibility, TRUMPF is changing the license management procedure for TruTops products.

How will the licensing change-over work?
In order to benefit from the improved license management, you simply need to install the new version of your particular TruTops product. The new license is automatically installed when you update to the latest software version.
What do I need to know about the license activation?
There are various options for license activation.
- The license can be linked to a USB dongle.

If you use a virtual machine, a dongle is required with the change (hardware-based software protection).

The change-over is a gradual process. The individual TruTops products will be changed over by mid-2017. We will notify you of the timing.
From mid-2017, the new license management will be mandatory for all TruTops products. If you do not do the update, your existing licenses will be frozen on the current hardware, which means that it will no longer be possible to carry out updates, license migrations, etc. or to swap computers.
