Think big, start small: TruMatic Seminar in Vietnam

With the aim to introduce the TruMatic 1000 to the Vietnamese market the seminars informed our customers about the advantages of this modular system to combine punching with laser technology for their production.

Mr Dominik Herrmann and Mr Manuel Klaude, from the technical sales support team from TRUMPF Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH + Co KG, were available as experts to answer the customers’ questions. The seminar in Ho Chi Minh City was jointly organized by TRUMPF Vietnam and Thyssenkrupp to promote German technologies. As “Made in Germany” has become very popular in Vietnam, the event met with great interest and despite rising trade tensions and volatility in emerging economies in the last months, Vietnam’s economy experiences extensive growth and low inflation. While Vietnamese entrepreneurs appreciate German machines and equipment, most of these products are hardly affordable for the majority of small to medium-sized production companies. This is why TRUMPF strongly promotes its entry level machines on the Vietnamese market. TRUMPF Vietnam, which became a full subsidiary in 2017, has installed more than 500 machines and lasers in Vietnam and built up a strong team of about 40 employees located in the offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to provide a solution based customer service.
