Milestone for TRUMPF // Live processing of orders // Ribbon cutting and tree planting ceremony
Official Opening of TRUMPF Indonesia Technology Center
Jakarta, May 19, 2017 – That day marks an important milestone for TRUMPF, as TRUMPF Indonesia unveiled its new Technology Center in Jakarta, Cikarang.
The establishment of TRUMPF Indonesia Technology Center (T.I.T.C) will not only boost TRUMPF’s market presence, but more importantly to meet the growing customer needs with optimum efficiency.
T.I.T.C is equipped with a showroom showcasing the latest technologies in the industry, along with other facilities like spare parts, tooling storage and a refurbishment area to recondition pre-owned machines. These facilities will be of critical importance to better support the ever changing manufacturing needs of customers.
Visitors who attended the ceremony were also given an idea on how TRUMPF has incorporated Industry 4.0 into the manufacturing process. They were able to "order" a job that would be sent directly to the machines on display in the Technology Center, after which they could view their "orders" being processed live.
Mr. Jörg Ellerkmann (Managing Director TRUMPF Asia Pacific), started off the ceremony with a welcome speech, followed by Ms. Ute Brockmann (Deputy Managing Director EKONID), Mr. Adrian Lim (General Manager – TRUMPF Indonesia) and Mr. Stephen Sidharta (Chief Representative Officer TRUMPF Indonesia).
The speakers then proceeded for ribbon cutting and tree planting ceremony that symbolizes growth between TRUMPF Indonesia, their customers and the fertility of the future business.
