Turbulator plates are mainly found in pellet heating systems. Their primary function is to swirl the hot air, facilitating the efficient transfer of heat from the combustion chamber to the heating water. TRUMPF's punch machines simultaneously cut and bend the formed sections in the turbulator plate. The active die enables the machines to form both the top and bottom of the sheet.
The turbulator plate is an example where forming is used on both the top and bottom of the sheet.
