Optics carrier plate

Mechanical engineering and system construction TruPrint Aluminium Additive Manufacturing

This optics carrier plate is installed in a laser system from TRUMPF. Additive manufacturing allows the production of complex structures that are optimised for the respective application. This was used in the optics carrier plate to attain, in spite of the weight reduction, a more rigid and cost-effective component compared to conventional production methods.
