The camera holder is used as a measuring device in a laser system from TRUMPF. It has complex cooling geometry and enables tolerance compensation through flexible clamping on four cooling surfaces. Whilst an assembly would conventionally be required, here the monolithic design offers a one-piece solution. This lowers manufacturing costs, increases cooling capacity and reduces assembly work. In addition, the material AL6061-RAM2 can be used for improved corrosion resistance and colour anodised to enable clear identification.
