Carrier

Mechanical engineering and system construction TruPrint Aluminium Additive Manufacturing

The carrier holds the optics carrier plates and thus forms the optical system of a TRUMPF laser system. The goal of creating a component that is as light and rigid as possible was achieved with the help of additive manufacturing. The switch from conventional production to additive manufacturing enables a weight reduction of 47% and a cost reduction of 42% for the carrier.

TruPrint 3000, flexible solution for industrial 3D printing
TruPrint 3000

TruPrint 3000 is a universal medium-format machine (LMF / PBF / LPBF) with Industrial Part and Powder Management. This means you benefit from even more flexibility, quality and productivity for your additive batch production – now also with the full-field multilaser option with two 500 watt lasers from TRUMPF. Productivity is almost doubled, independent of the component geometry, and the part costs are significantly decreased.
