Aluminium backbones for downhill bike
Intense Cycles uses 3D printed parts made of validated 6061 RAM2 for the production of prototypes, in particular the backbone. This component connects the front triangle of the frame with the spring-loaded rear end of the bike and takes on all the stresses of demanding downhill World Cup racing. The material is extremely easy to weld, and can also be anodised. The TruPrint 3000 enables these parts to be produced with outstanding surface quality and a high level of productivity.
