TruTops Print

Data preparation for 3D printing

The bridge between the digital and physical world

Discover TruTops Print – your innovative software solution for effortless, precise data preparation for 3D printing. Seamlessly and efficiently close the gap between design and printing with TruTops Print.

Our software works harmoniously together with our state-of-the-art 3D printing systems to produce premium results. TruTops Print offers sophisticated functions for slicing, vector generation and laser allocation – the final steps in data preparation. Thanks to our advanced downskin strategy, you can enjoy maximum design freedom, low material consumption and less post-processing. Compared to components with support structures, this results in smoother surfaces and quicker print times.

TruTops Print can be seamlessly integrated into your preferred CAD CAM software to ensure a smooth workflow. From construction preparation to path generation and 3D printing – optimise your production processes with TruTops Print.

Experience the perfect harmony between the digital and physical world with TruTops Print and optimise your 3D printing processes like never before!

Intuitive operation thanks to simple user interface

Thanks to the clear visual display of the parameter configuration settings, using TruTops Print couldn't be easier.

Software & machine in perfect harmony

TruTops Print and our 3D printing systems are optimally attuned to each other.

Complete control thanks to parameter editor

The full details on the applied parameters can be viewed and changed based on component-specific requirements.

Seamless integration

Say goodbye to laborious data conversions – TruTops Print is connected to various CAD/CAM software programs to facilitate a smooth workflow when it comes to data preparation.

Our innovative downskin strategy in TruTops Print optimises the undersides of components, which often aren't as smooth, resulting in improved surface quality. This also saves you laborious reworking.

Take at look at TruTops Print

As the first step, the parameters are assigned in TruTops Print.

The components are sliced into layers and laser vectors are created (slicing & hatching). Progress can be tracked in the build job queue.

Multilaser allocation permits automatic or individual laser allocation for each component.

Laser exposure settings can be configured in the parameter editor, e.g. optimising downskin parameters.

Settings for the downskin functions can be configured in the parameter editor.

File formats

TruTops Print is able to process STL (stereolithography) and 3MF  (3D manufacturing format)  files and supports slice-based support and beam-lattice extension.

Data preparation: from design to print file

Design

Construct your desired component and optimise its design for 3D printing

Alignment/orientation

Align your component on the build plate and, if necessary, arrange several components on the plate.

Support structures

Add required support structures.

Slicing and laser allocation

With TruTops Print, you slice your model into layers for printing, assign vectors and define parameters and laser allocation.
