High-performance, precise, lightweight: the 6-axis industrial robot helps you to achieve high part precision and short cycle times. The mechanical quick-release coupling enables grippers to be changed quickly.
You do not need to stack the blanks exactly in the loading area, as the centring table aligns them in the correct position. This enhances process reliability and saves time. The perforated sheet on the surface also prevents the parts from sticking.
The Flex Cell is particularly powerful thanks to the combination of vacuum and pivoting-jaw gripper. Its movable vacuum unit ensures a low obstruction during bending. The grippers are also designed for gripping over flanges.
Guarantees a high level of process reliability: sheet thickness measuring is used to detect whether the gripper has picked up two sheets at an early stage. The double sheet detection system also serves as a regripping station.
With the conveyor belt, even delicate parts can be safely unloaded. It can also be undocked quickly, offers ample space for the operator and has minimal disruptive contours for the additional material flow.
Two regripping stations are integrated into the Flex Cell: a fixed one for smaller parts and an adjustable one for larger parts. The vacuum generated by each suction cup ensures that the bending parts are held securely. The short distances also enable quick regripping, which reduces cycle times.
Simplifying the filling and emptying process – with the loading and unloading carts, you can prepare the next parts during production and switch them out quickly and effortlessly.
Angle measurement on the Flex Cell – using the new ACB "Smart" method, the Flex Cell can be equipped with both ACB Wireless and ACB Laser.
With the suction cup gripper, larger parts up to 600 x 400 mm can also be produced in the Flex Cell. The additional swivel axis reduces the need for part regripping.
