Checklist: What do I need for an OCI connection to MyTRUMPF?
OCI is a standard interface that can be integrated into multiple merchandise management systems using different modules. You can use the same module for different interfaces or suppliers. Are you already using OCI? That's great news! If you wish to use OCI with a merchandise management system, please ensure that an OCI module is available. An OCI module is integrated as standard in SAP. If you use a different procurement software product, please ask the provider if they support OCI and can help you set up the connection.
OCI allows you to use the functions of the E-shop, such as search or exploded views, but order as usual from your merchandise management system. You get the best of both worlds at your individual customer price. You don't necessarily have to purchase using your merchandise management system. Fully automated ordering via MyTRUMPF provides an overview of all your machines and orders.
It doesn't matter whether you place a lot of orders or just a few – OCI is free and easy to set up. One advantage of placing frequent orders is that you can use the favourites list to save your standard orders. You don't order from us often? We offer assistance with parts selection in the form of exploded drawings and machine-specific orders.
If you have already registered for MyTRUMPF, you can request an OCI link today. If you don't yet have a MyTRUMPF account, please register free of charge. Once we have verified your account, you can request your link and enjoy all the benefits of OCI.

What is OCI: Open Catalog Interface?
In short, OCI is an open standardised interface for exchanging product information between independent systems. It enables the transfer of product data by means of digital catalogues between the customer's ERP or merchandise management systems and the MyTRUMPF E-shop. The user accesses current TRUMPF catalogue data via the Internet using standard Internet protocols.
The aim of OCI is to use the MyTRUMPF E-shop for research and product selection and to integrate the product data into the ERP system without having to manually store all the data in detail. The product information is integrated into the ordering process via the OCI interface, and the order is then transmitted and posted directly from the customer's ERP system.
SAP developed the OCI standard and also coined the term "punchout", which refers to the user being redirected to an external shop system via the SAP system. The system can now also be used to connect any systems. SAP is not essential for this.
