Service engineer in field service: you get the best out of the machines
At TRUMPF you will benefit from a treasure trove of international experiences and discover lots of different cultures – since you will be taking care of our customers' machines worldwide. You team will consist of service engineers in internal and field service, as well as colleagues in management. Of course you will also meet many other stakeholders as part of your daily work inside and outside the company.
TRUMPF machines are used all around the world. Our technical service takes care of all customer concerns with regard to installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and much more. As a service engineer you will advise our customers as part of the office team or remote support, or you will work on the machines directly on site in field service. If you would like to become a part of our Service Competence Center, you will be responsible for assisting with larger technical malfunctions.
As newcomer you will undergo a comprehensive training programme, which will help you get to know our machines better. Afterwards you will work together with an experienced colleague in the team. As soon as you are ready, you will take on your own responsibilities. You can become an expert in specific machines or assist us as an all-rounder. We offer you a wide range of career opportunities – if you start as a maintenance engineer, you can achieve a work-based qualification to become a service engineer.
